The BC Patient Centred Measurement (BC PCM) Steering Committee is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect, use, and disclose your personal information in accordance with the BC Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA) and other applicable laws. Personal information is recorded information about an identifiable individual, such as an individual's name, address, birth date, email address and phone number.

Collection

BCPCM does not automatically collect personal information from visitors of our website, however there may be situations where you choose to voluntarily provide it in order to obtain specific online services (i.e. subscribe to our newsletter) or provide feedback to us (i.e. use of our Contact Us form). The personal information you send to us voluntarily from our website is collected under the authority of section 26(c) of the FOIPPA.

In order to improve access to our website, determine what information visitors access most frequently, and facilitate operations, information such as IP address, browser type, domain name, access dates/times and referring website addresses is automatically collected by the web server when you visit our website.

Use

Personal information collected on this website will only be used to fulfill the purpose for which it was originally collected, or for a use consistent with that purpose, unless authorized by law or with your expressed consent to use it for other purposes.

Disclosure

Unless authorized by law, or with your expressed consent, personal information you provide to BCPCM on this website will not be shared with anyone.

Cookies and Web Analytics

The BCPCM website does not use cookies, but does use Google Analytics to analyze non-identifiable web traffic data with the purpose of improving the services we offer. IP addresses are anonymized so that they cannot be used to identify individuals.

This site contains links to external websites. Once you leave the BCPCM website, this privacy policy does not apply.  BCPCM is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external websites.
